Well it was a busy weekend in the El Pasos. There were quite a few people out, lots were just driving around slow looking to go gold mining I thought!~ I saw one or two groups putting up claim markers which there isn't much open land left, that I know of. Mark Aslin said he had 27 visitors yesterday (Friday) which is unusual, but probably par for the course now that cool temps are here. Thanksgiving will no doubt be a zoo, Mark has visitors coming to cook a turkey he said, I will be at home with family too.
At the camp, Rob, Austin and Debbie stopped in. Austin is 3 and getting into gold mining Rob said! I should've taken a picture of him with his shovel. Rob's jeep was running rough and we traced the problem to a sensor wire that was frayed, Mark wrapped it with tape and they were running again. I grabbed some buckets of dirt and will process them at home. On the way in I had seen at the Lundquist cabin (joniejack) a white p/u with an atv in back. On the way out the BLM were at the cabin, I stopped and introduced myself, and while talking with the ranger found that the BLM was impounding an illegal ATV - not sure what was wrong, they just said it wasnt supposed to be in up there....no sticker perhaps? I took a pic of the tow truck that took it out...

lots of bikes were out
